KARABOON WELLNESS CO., LTD.

Karboon Wellness Co., Ltd. was established in 2010 under the name Hatthaland Resort & Spa Co., Ltd. It operates a resort and health massage business in Phitsanulok Province to welcome both Thai and international tourists. Later in 2024, when the company received an award from the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, the Medical Association trusted it to use the name Karboon Wellness to operate a health resort and spa business to further improve wellness standards. In 2025, the company operated a multi-clinic business, consisting of applied Thai traditional medicine, Chinese traditional medicine, and physical therapy by specialist doctors, providing comprehensive care and treatment from the root cause for sustainable health.

"Karaboon"

The name Camphor comes from the Camphor tree, the tree of the Ministry of Public Health. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn bestowed the Camphor tree as the tree of the Ministry of Public Health on the occasion of stepping into the 100th anniversary of Thai public health in 2018 and on the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of Public Health, which fell on 27 November 2017, Dr. Thawat Suntarajan, Assistant Minister to the Ministry of Public Health and the executives of the Ministry of Public Health jointly planted a camphor tree within the Ministry of Public Health.

The Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, the Medical Association of Thai Traditional and Integrative Medicine, and Mediwell Co., Ltd. have signed a 3-party MOU since May 21, 2020 under the brand “Karaboon”, a symbol representing quality and reliability, to jointly promote and support the use of herbs based on the knowledge of Thai traditional medicine, from cooking to health care to treating diseases, by developing them into medicines and products, including services in Thai traditional medicine, it is a driving force for the agricultural and food industry, producers of the entire herbal industry chain, and the tourism industry.
